My name is Charlie, and I am originally from Normandy, France. After completing my literary baccalaureate, I earned a Bachelor's degree in English literature and civilization in Rouen. Following my undergraduate studies, I felt the need to travel and explore new horizons, so I spent two years teaching French in a secondary school in England. Despite coming from a family of teachers, I discovered my love for teaching there and obtained a Master's degree in teaching French to foreign audiences in Angers upon my return. As I dislike being bored, I also worked concurrently in a French teaching center for migrants. I found joy in teaching students from diverse cultures. Through a fortunate coincidence and thanks to the encounter of my life, I discovered Tahiti last year while on vacation, and like many tourists, Polynesia managed to capture my heart. Upon discovering Tahiti International School, I was drawn to the variety of teaching possibilities and the genuine opportunity to provide effective and enjoyable differentiated instruction. I consider myself very fortunate to teach three subjects this year that I am passionate about: English to CP-CE1 and CE2-CM1, French to two Swiss-German students, and literature to 4th-3rd graders. I also have the opportunity to teach UNESCO values to CM2-6th grade students, as well as to offer English classes that combine fun, language, and creativity during English Academy sessions. I enjoy delivering lessons that are both fun, artistic, and effective. I appreciate getting to know my students and witnessing their development in and out of the classroom.
